The Links at Glen Eagles

Driving out of the city, tension melting away with each passing minute, over the next hill is 250KM of awe-insprining panoramic Rocky Mountain views that range from the western edge of Calgary to the entrance of Kananaskis Country.

From the moment you arrive at The Links of GlenEagles, you are taken back by the pristine beauty of the course. The radiant fairways, sparkling white sand bunkers and exceptionally manicured greens await. You are grabbed by the vistas just as the Nationwide Tour Pros were during the Alberta Classic hosted in 2003.

You ask yourself, how can this course possibly be cut into the side of the rugged foothills where they meet the Rocky Mountains and still blend in as naturally as if it were always meant to be there?

As you walk up to the stunning cedar timber and rundle stone clubhouse you are greeted by a friendly and efficient staff whose main focus is to provide service that is second to none.

As you step onto the first tee and look out over the golden natural grasses that frame each hole gently swaying in the wind, you already have the feeling that this will be a truly memorable day.

The golf course, a championship par-72, has five sets of tees on each hole to choose from. The Links of GlenEagles can play as easy or as challenging as you desire. With the uncommon feature of five par-3s and five par-5s each hole presents its own risk/reward scenario.

Feel like gambling? You will always have a chance to go for it. Or, if you are a little more safety conscious, you can also lay-up and save par.

Designer Les Furber has created the ultimate natural test presenting ravines, escarpments, natural grasses and spectacular scenery that will leave a lasting impression as you navigate around them throughout your round.

Relaxing in the comforts of the Eagles Nest Restaurant or on our large inviting outside patio you begin to reminisce about your day. Plans start to form on when you can return and experience this again. A day of great friends, great views, great golf and great service. A day that has given you freedom from the everyday!
