Designed by the ever-popular 1992 Masters Champion Fred Couples and his design partner Gene Bates, The Golf Club at The Rise has to be seen to be believed. With 12 holes featuring dramatic views of Okanagan Lake, the course is described by Couples as “absolutely stunning. It will set the standard for championship golf in the Okanagan.”

Perched 1,000 feet above Okanagan Lake, this spectacular par-72, 6,800 yard-plus layout welcomes all golfers with generous landing areas and a minimum five sets of tees on every hole. The Couples-Bates design offers a unique blend of beauty, variety, enjoyment, and challenge. “The first three holes are the best holes I’ve ever played opening up a golf course,” said Couples. “My expertise is coming in and just touching the corners of a Picasso.”

The remarkable Okanagan canvas includes prestigious homes, a soon-to-be created boutique hotel and winery, as well as extraordinary vineyard homesites. Upon completion the vineyard will consist of 40 acres of Reisling, Pinot Noir, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris grapes. Couples and Bates have produced a vintage golf course in a rare and idyllic setting.
