Morgan Creek Golf Club: A Golf Experience to Remember

Canadian golf course architect Thomas McBroom is one of the most respected of the modern-day course designers. On a beautiful site 30 miles south of Vancouver McBroom has created one of Canada’s finest courses – A Golf Digest Recognized “Places to Play” and ranked in the Top 50 in Canada by Score Magazine – one that would certainly qualify as host to the highest level of competitions such as the BCPGA Championship – hosted twice by Morgan Creek since opening in 1995.

Morgan Creek, is an 18 hole championship course designed for golfers of all skill levels who want to experience rolling bent grass, tree lined fairways and white sand bunkers; a course that rewards strategy, not only power. “The carries over water and the environmental areas test your mettle, not your muscle,” McBroom explains.

With five sets of tees, the par 72 course measures 6,968 yards(136 slope) from the back tees and plays to 5,226 yards from the forward tees. McBroom provides a gently rolling coastal terrain – an experience that everyone can enjoy.

Wildlife is abundant at Morgan Creek, and a round of golf here is truly a walk through the beauty of nature. Soaring eagles, wild deer, and abundant water birds populate the environmentally preserved areas, meandering creeks and ponds. Peace and tranquility abound.

The clubhouse has expansive views of the finely manicured golf course and Coastal mountains beyond, and provides a beautiful setting for tournaments, corporate outings, golf schools, weddings and banquets, business meetings and seminars. The warm and friendly staff will be happy to serve you whether you are here for golf, a bountiful snack by the fireplace before or after your game, or an exquisite meal in our comfortable dining room.

As Director of Golf, Wayne Vollmer says, “Morgan Creek is truly a ‘must play’ course where we treat each and every guest as a member for the day.”
